MANAGEMENT OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN THE CONDITIONS OF A DIGITAL ECONOMY THROUGH THE PRISM OF AGILE APPROACHES
Abstract
The agricultural sector of Ukraine is an important component of the economy, as it provides a significant portion of GDP and guarantees food security in both domestic and foreign markets. Thanks to fertile lands, our country holds leading positions in the world in producing grains and oilseeds. During the war, the agribusiness sector becomes critically important, serving as a primary food source and supporting economic stability. The agricultural sector provides jobs for millions of Ukrainians and stimulates the development of related industries. The new challenges posed by the war require adequate investment in the restoration and modernization of Ukraine's agrarian sector. The agribusiness sector is undergoing significant changes in the context of the development of the digital economy. Such transformations require the application of modern management approaches that can ensure adaptability and flexibility. Agile is gaining increasing popularity in the agricultural sector, having proven its effectiveness in the IT sphere. This innovative methodology allows businesses to optimize internal processes and respond quickly to market changes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This scientific article analyzes the integration of Agile approaches in agribusiness management under the conditions of a digital economy. The principles of Agile that enable enterprises to respond swiftly to changes and optimize management processes are highlighted. The main Agile methodologies are characterized, and the most effective ones are identified, considering the unique challenges of the sector. A comparative analysis of the Scrum and Kanban approaches in the agricultural sector is conducted. Recommendations for the effective use of Agile approaches in agribusiness management are provided. The management process of the agricultural sector using Agile methodology is modeled. The negative aspects of integrating modern methodologies into agribusiness management are outlined. Conclusions are drawn about improving management processes in agribusiness and ensuring resilience in the face of changing market trends through the adaptation of Agile approaches.
