CONCEPTUAL MODEL FOR MANAGING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF ENERGY ENTERPRISES BASED ON INTEGRATED BUSINESS MODELS
Abstract
The article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation and implementation of competitive strategies of energy enterprises under current conditions of the energy market functioning. The relevance of the study is driven by the need to enhance the competitiveness of energy enterprises in the context of transformational changes in the market environment, the increasing role of institutional regulation, the digitalization of the economy, and growing requirements for energy efficiency and sustainable development. Particular importance is attached to the development of integrated approaches to competitiveness management that ensure the alignment of strategic, investment, and innovation decisions in the activities of energy sector enterprises. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the conceptual foundations of managing the competitiveness of energy enterprises based on the integration of business models, to identify key factors of their development, and to develop a conceptual model for forming a competitive strategy. The research employs systemic, structural-functional, comparative, and analytical methods, which made it possible to comprehensively assess the impact of institutional, economic, and technological factors on the development of energy enterprises. The results of the study demonstrate that the formation of a competitive strategy for energy enterprises is determined by a combination of regulatory, investment, organizational-managerial, and technological factors that constitute the basis of their long-term development. It is shown that the effective integration of investment programs, digital solutions, and innovative approaches contributes to improving operational efficiency, optimizing costs, and strengthening market positions. It is established that the integration of business models plays a key role in ensuring competitiveness, as it enhances enterprises’ adaptability to changes in the external environment and supports their sustainable development. A conceptual model for managing the competitiveness of energy enterprises is proposed, which is based on the integration of regulatory support, investment planning, factor analysis, the development of an information base, and effective interaction with stakeholders. This model contributes to improving the quality of managerial decision-making and ensuring the long-term efficiency of energy sector enterprises.
