Innovations in the agricultural sector of economy of Ukraine in the context of the development of European integration

Abstract

The article is devoted to qualitative innovational changes in the agrarian sector of the Ukrainian economy, which necessitates constant search for innovations and identifying the main trends in the agritech market of Eastern Europe.

Application of innovations in the agrarian sector makes it possible to transform even the most unfavorable conditions into a real "advantage". Advances in the agrarian sector of the United States, Australia, Israel, Canada and the Netherlands are related to IT-solutions in agriculture. Nowadays, agro-market is popular with such solutions as: introduction of precision agriculture systems, aerial survey for quality control of crops, field history for the selection of optimal crops, laboratory soil studies for information on the biochemical composition. These technologies make it possible to increase yields and reduce production costs by reducing material costs (fuel, seeds, etc).

The number of people who are interested in creating projects in the agro-business is gradually increasing. At the same time, the level of training and professional expertise grows in start-ups. Several Ukrainian projects have entered international accelerators and entered the foreign markets: Kray Technologies, Avision Robotics, AgriEye, BIOsens, Water Cloud. Ukraine has a high potential for the development of technology companies and agribusiness. Therefore, one of the strategic objectives is to combine these two most promising sectors and build synergistic interaction between them.
